TRAINING AND CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR SECURITY OF PAYMENT ADJUDICATORS

A series of short online inexpensive 1 hour online CPD events for Security of Payment Adjudicators for the Queensland 2020 CPD year has been organised. The first one hour CPD Event held on 25 August 2020 was well received.

15 September 2020 - 5:15pm - 6:15pm Brisbane time  - 1 hour CPD session via Zoom - 'The Task of the SOP Adjudicator - Uncontested Claims and Claims with a Paucity of Supporting Valuation Information'  

The First of 3 CPD Sessions dealing with valuation under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (Qld).

Cost of the 15 September event is $72 Incl GST   

This session, led by Jonathan Smith and Tim Sullivan, discusses the Adjudicator's task in calculating the amount of a progress payment and valuation of construction work and 'related goods and services where a payment claim is uncontested or there is a paucity of supporting valuation information.

This session is designed to meet the requirements for the Core Unit 'Practice & Procedure' from the Continuing Professional Development Policy (CPD Policy) for Adjudicators under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017.
